WOMEN'S BOX TEAM - Leszek Piotrowski - coach, Karolina Michalczuk, Karolina Graczyk, Lidia Fidura.

Leszek Piotrowski
The leader of the brave women. He did not expect that he would become a female king, and what is more, that this role would suit him so well. - He said in one of the interviews.
He devotes all his strength to his work and "it" brings him a lot of satisfaction, like now, when for several years he has been leading the Polish women's national boxing team.
If it wasn't for his charges, Polish amateur boxing would be as quiet as a coral atoll before a subtropical storm. His girls, greedy for success, bring medals from every European or World Championships, although the competition is getting tougher literally with every month. In 2009, the decision of the Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee included women's boxing in the Olympic Games program, so there is nothing left for us to do but to wish coach Leszek Piotrowski a successful premiere in London.
Karolina Michalczuk
Karolina Michalczuk was the first Polish woman in the history of boxing to win the world amateur boxing title during the competition in Ningbo, China (2008).
The only Pole so far who has won the world championship in this sports discipline is Henryk Średnicki, who won the world championship in 1978 in Belgrade.
Karolina Michalczuk, has already had significant achievements being among others world vice-champion from Delhi, European champion, twice Old Continent vice-champion and twice European Union champion. In 2010 in Bridgetown she failed to defend the title of world champion and won a bronze medal.
So she has a set of medals in her collection. What does she lack to be happy? - We all know the Olympic medal. Knowing the huge ambition of this great sportswoman she will certainly do her best to get this trophy as well.
Karolina Graczyk
European Union Championships medalist (Lille 2007, Liverpool 2008)
World Championships Medalist (Barbados 2010)
Lidia Fidura
She started her adventure with sport from kyokushin karate in 1999. In 2005 in the WALKA Zabrze club under the guidance of Bogdan Jedrysik and Ludwik Buczynski she started training boxing. In September 2005 she fought her first fight in the ring, which she won 3:0. Then in April 2006 she took part in the Polish Junior Championships in Grudziądz, where she fought 3 fights, winning two of them by RSC. Since 2011 she represents the CARBO Gliwice club.
