Grzegorz Kacała

The most outstanding Polish rugby player in history. In Poland he played for Lechia Gdańsk and Ogniwo Sopot, he also played about 30 games for the national team, but his real career was in the West. He played for several French clubs, the most successful being CA Brive - in 1997 the club won the Heineken Cup, and Kacała was selected the best player of the final match. He later played for Cardiff RFC in Wales. He officially ended his career in 2001 and coached Ogniwo, Orkan Sochaczew and Lechia Gdańsk.
