Piezoelectric Wave Therapy

The PiezoWave2 shockwave therapy machine is the latest device from Richard Wolf. It is the most advanced device of its kind on the market. "The heart of the PiezoWave2 is a piezoelectric shockwave generator with high efficiency. Piezoelectric elements are arranged in the form of a mosaic filling a spherical bowl and excited simultaneously by an electric impulse from the generator. This makes it possible to precisely focus the shock wave in the tissue.

The transfer of energy into the tissues is done by means of gel caps. Each cap has a specific depth of penetration so that the energy can be delivered in a precise manner. The precisely selected focus zone allows for a very precise treatment and ensures protection of the tissues in the immediate vicinity of the focus. Another advantage of the caps is the reduced impact on the skin surface and bone tissue not covered by soft tissues, which significantly reduces the pain sensation during the execution of the treatment.

Advantages of the device:
effectiveness - fast pain relief for the patient, long-lasting therapeutic effect, penetration depth up to 6 cm, energy density unattainable for other devices, precise impact, quiet operation without vibration, precise location of trigger points.
Superb results in indications such as:
calcifications located within the soft tissues (eg. Excellent results in the following indications: localized calcifications of soft tissues (e.g. periarticular calcifications), rotator cone tendonitis, patellar tendonitis (jumper's knee), Achilles tendonitis and other tendons, tennis elbow and golfer's elbow, inflammation of the subacromial bursa, vertebral bursitis, runner's knee, plantar fasciitis of the sole of the foot, symptomatic heel spur, tightness of the fascial compartments of the lower leg, increased muscle tension, active muscle-fascial trigger points, chronic post-traumatic conditions, pseudo joints, delayed bone fusion, venous leg ulcers, cellulite.
